Uniform without logos can be purchased from any high street store.  Also available to buy at the schoolwear shop are sew-on logo badges which may be a more affordable way for children to have a logo’d sweatshirt.

Please make every effort to help your child feel comfortable in school by providing the right uniform.  If this is difficult for any reason please contact the School Office or your child(ren)’s teacher. The Borough of Poole can help with the cost of school clothing in cases of financial hardship.  The school will respect genuine cultural and religious needs.

A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all pupils.

  • Pupils should wear correct uniform which includes black shoes (not trainers).
  • Polo shirts should be tucked in and collars flipped out over the sweatshirts.
  • Make up, including nail varnish, and jewellery are not allowed in school.  Pupils with pierced ears are permitted to wear 1 pair of plain stud earrings.
  • No extremes of hairstyle – less than no. 2 cut, too many clips or bands, excessive use of hair gel, spiked, Mohican, tramlines etc.

PE

Earrings must be removed for PE. Pupils will be expected to remove their own earrings.

Sensible black shoes for both summer and winter are essential. Trainers, boots, fashion shoes and open toe sandals are not suitable, as they are not safe in the school or playgrounds.

PE Kit

  • Black PE Shorts
  • Black PE Joggers
  • PE T-Shirts will be Blue, Green, White or Yellow depending on which ‘House’ your child is linked to.
  • PE Bag small with logo

Earrings must be removed for PE.

Pupils will be expected to remove their own earrings.

We would ask that if children are intending to have their ears pierced, this is done during the Summer holidays to avoid issues with removing them for PE during the term-time.

If for any reason your child is unable to remove their own earrings for PE, the school requires written parental permission for them to join in the PE lesson whilst still wearing their earrings. This would be an exception and a separate letter would be required on each occasion.

Outdoor Coat

All children must come to school in a warm coat during the Winter months.
