Please make every effort to help your child feel comfortable in school by providing the right uniform. If this is difficult for any reason please contact the School office or your child(ren)’s teacher. Children in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant are eligible for an amount of free school uniform, please see attached letter. The Borough of Poole can help with the cost of school clothing in cases of financial hardship. The school will respect genuine cultural and religious needs.

A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all pupils.

  • Pupils should wear correct uniform which includes black shoes (see ‘Footwear’ below).
  • Polo shirts should be tucked in and collars folded over the sweatshirts.
  • Small hair ties in school colours.
  • No extremes of hairstyle – less than no. 2 cut, too many clips or bands, excessive use of hair gel, spiked, Mohican, tramlines etc. Make up, including nail varnish, and jewellery are not allowed in school.
  • Pupils with pierced ears are permitted to wear 1 pair of plain stud earrings.
  • Earrings must be removed for PE.

  • Pupils will be expected to remove their own earrings.


We ask that if children are intending to have their ears pierced, this is done during the summer holidays to avoid issues with removing them for PE during the term-time.





General Uniform

  • Navy Sweatshirt, Jumper or Cardigan (available with the school logo)
  • Red Polo Shirt (available with the school logo)
  • Grey Trousers, Knee Length Shorts or Skirt
  • Grey Socks or Grey Tights
  • Navy Sweatshirt or Jumper (available with the school logo)

Summer Uniform

  • Red Gingham Summer Dress (not essential)
  • White socks
  • Same as above


  • Sensible black, flat shoes for both summer and winter are essential. No sandals or open toe shoes are allowed.
  • Trainers and boots can be worn to and from school and in the playground but school shoes must be worn in the school building.

PE Kit

  • Black PE Shorts
  • Black Joggers (for outdoor PE in winter)
  • White Polo Shirt or T-Shirt.

NB – please ensure all uniform (including socks and coats) are named otherwise things are difficult to return to their owner.
